The Arctis Nova Pro Omni is here and SteelSeries is making a bigger play than just another headset refresh

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni headset in use with various gaming devices including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

SteelSeries celebrates 25 years of creating gaming peripherals by announcing a brand-new wireless headset designed with audiophiles in mind. The newly unveiled Arctis Nova Pro Omni gaming headset from SteelSeries checks all the boxes for Hi-Res fidelity in a wireless headset that works across multiple platforms — including Xbox, PC, and handhelds.

The current gaming landscape is in a shift, as younger generations leave behind stationary gaming desktop rigs and consoles for more portable gaming devices like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, Nintendo Switch, or even just their smartphones.

Gaming on mobile and handheld devices has become a more premium experience as the platforms evolve, but options for audio solutions that can keep up with the more immersive and intensive gaming experiences have been lacking.

SteelSeries aims to fill that gap with the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, a more premium headset engineered to be platform agnostic. Whether your gaming sessions are on-the-go with your smartphone or at home with your custom gaming desktop and favorite console, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni provides Hi-Res fidelity sound through 96kHz/24-bit wireless audio connected to up to five devices via 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity.

Omniplay, SteelSeries' interconnectivity feature, allows you to simultaneously connect, mix, and play with multiple devices. Connect up to three devices via wired USB-C to the base station and up to five total, then hop into a Discord call on your PC while hearing game audio from your Xbox while watching TikTok on your smartphone. It's a multitasker's dream come true.

Hi-Res Wireless Certified by the Japanese Audio Society, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni features custom-designed Hi-Res Neodymium Magnetic 40mm drivers with an extended frequency range of 10Hz up to 40kHz.

Neodymium magnetic drivers utilize some of the strongest magnets available to offer unmatched sound quality that is more accurate and detailed, and the Arctis Nova Pro Omni drivers are custom-tuned with 360 Spatial Audio — perfect for helping you hear that enemy that's creeping up behind you.

SteelSeries pairs the neodymium magnetic drivers of the Arctis Nova Pro Omni with additional features like improved Active Noise Cancellation capable of tuning out 88% of background noise, improving your overall experience by keeping you more immersed in the game.

Noise disruption extends beyond just the audio output of the Arctis Nova Pro Omni. SteelSeries' premium new headset features the new ClearCast Pro omnidirectional microphone. The microphone has undergone an upgrade from other Arctis headsets and now features an advanced chipset that delivers twice the bandwidth of other gaming headsets.

And, of course, it's not tech unless it includes some sort of AI functionality. SteelSeries has embedded the tech into the microphone via algorithms intended to reduce background noise by 96%, improving the broadcast quality of the built-in microphone without the need for additional software.

The Arctis Nova Pro Omni's mixed audio functionality also works with the microphone, allowing you to use the mic simultaneously across game chat and Discord while the Smart Switch capability allows the microphone to switch to your smartphone when you take an incoming call. To switch back to your game chats, simply end the call and the active chat will change dynamically without the need for any additional input from you.

For maximum control over audio input and output with the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, the SteelSeries Arctis app can be used on your favorite mobile device to dynamically adjust presets in real-time without the need to leave your game or call. The Arctis app features over 200 game-specific audio profiles tailored by audio engineers, esports pros, and game developers to give you the best sound and the most immersion possible. Players on PC can also utilize the SteelSeries Sonar App to adjust the Arctis Nova Pro Omni.

The Arctis Nova Pro Omni from SteelSeries is available now in three colorways: Midnight Blue, White, and Graphite. Audiophile-quality sound and multiplatform compatibility does come with a premium price tag, as the Arctis Nova Pro Omni will cost $399.99.
