The Apprentice has returned to BBC One for its 17th series - and viewers hate the candidates already.
The show aired at 9pm on Thursday evening, with 18 hopefuls aiming to become Sir Alan Sugar's new business partner. The new series kicked things off on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
The teams were tasked with selling and running bespoke tours - but soon descended into bickering on the beach and some woeful negotiating. And viewers are already hating the contestants.
Within minutes of the show airing, viewers were taking to twitter to express their lack of love for its young hopefuls. Many of them used words far too rude to repeat on a family-friendly website.
However, here's a selection of those that were a bit less sweary... but no less disaparaging about the contenders.
Within three minutes of the show starting, Lord Bailey tweeted: "Enough already. Fire the whole lot of them."
Terry Chapman tweeted: "These opening statements must surely be scripted on behalf of the participants. No one is that obnoxious?"
Meawnhil @cohesl said: "As expected, I hate them all already."
@rohan376 tweeted: "Why are they all so nauseating already? Oh well here goes."
That was all before anyone had even left the boardroom... and things didn't improve in Antigua. When they did, and the contestants got down to business on the beach, Ashley Woodhouse tweeted: "The cringe level of some of these guided tours is just on another level!"
And a very shouty Matt Horton asked: "HOW DO THEY GET MORE STUPID EVERY YEAR!"
And Jay F R Caotes said:" So much of The Apprentice is second hand embarrassment. I don't know how any of these people could be trusted with anything business. Sure, there's probably some creative editing to make it look more dramatic and incompetent, but even so."
@jxmeesNC added: "This series is going to be a hard watch. Never seen such an unlikeable group of people."
