The Ange Postecoglou Tottenham transfer domino effect that could see Ryan Kent face major Fenerbahce battle

Ange Postecoglou's transfer plan at Tottenham could be about to set off a domino effect that will be felt by former Rangers rival Ryan Kent.

The former Celtic boss is beginning his London clear-out after joining the Premier League heavyweights following a Treble success in Glasgow. At the same time, on the other side of the city, Rangers began to say goodbye to Kent and attacker Alfredo Morelos, who had both been engaged in long-winded will-they-won't-they sagas that eventually led to their exit. Kent moved quickly to get his post-Ibrox career up and running, sealing a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The former Liverpool winger became available for free after the Light Blues had splashed out £7million in 2019 as the 26-year-old penned a four-year deal with his new side last month. But already Kent has seen stars join him in Turkey with former Manchester City and Inter Milan hitman Edin Dzeko arriving at the club. There could also be the big-time arrival of one player Postecoglou may look to offload from Spurs.

Postecoglou is reportedly ready to clear out up to TEN Spurs players with Croatian international Ivan Perisic one of them and he has been 'offered' to the Turkish side. TRT Spor say the 34-year-old, who joined Spurs in 2022, could be one of the stars offloaded by Postecoglou this summer as his current deal expires next year.

Perisic has not been officially approached by Fenerbahce states the report, but that the side are looking to bolster their attacking line. They have also been linked with Crystal Palace winger Wilfred Zaha throughout the window, but the Ivory Coast international also has interested suitors from Saudi Arabia.

The arrival of seasoned international Perisic could put heavy competition on Kent's shoulders as he settles in to his new life away from Glasgow. The Englishman could get his first taste of action in a pre-season friendly against Zenit next month.
