The Agency: Unfiltered has been greenlit for a second season by BBC Scotland.
The popular reality show gave an insight into Scotland's biggest influencer management company and their most successful clients as they navigate brand deals and trips abroad. The series will follow Uddingston-based Aquarius Creative and its founders Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Kirsten and Amy said: "We’re delighted to announce that season two of ‘The Agency: Unfiltered’ is coming! We’re so passionate about what we do and it’s been amazing to see such a great response to series one, showing you the behind the scenes of our business and everyone within our agency."
"We had so much fun on season one and we can’t wait to start filming for season two, as we will get to spend more time with our amazing team, clients, influencers, and crew! It’s going to be an exciting summer."
The Agency: Unfiltered was a smash hit with audiences drawing in over 425k streams on BBC iPlayer as well as a huge reaction on social media.
The show offered a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of some of Scotland's most popular social media stars and showcased the hard work and creativity that goes into building a successful influencer brand.
"We're thrilled to be bringing The Agency: Unfiltered back for a second series," said Steve Allen, commissioning executive for BBC Scotland. "The first series was a huge success, and we're excited to see what Kirsten, Amy, and their team have in store for us this time around."
He added: "This show offers a unique and fascinating look into world of social media and influencer culture and we’re delighted it proved such a hit with audiences.”
The Agency: Unfiltered has established itself as a must-watch show for anyone interested in the world of social media and influencer marketing. With its mix of glamour, drama and real-life insights, the new series promises to be even more exciting than the first.
Executive Producer Laura Capaldi and IWC Creative Director Mark Downie hope to create a second series that dives even deeper into the influencer world. They said: “We’re so excited to get started on a new series of The Agency Unfiltered.
"In the last year, the business that Amy and Kirsten have built has grown enormously, but so have Amy and Kirsten's personal challenges and this series will show them both in a new light.
"We will also be introducing viewers to some new influencers, as well as delving into the personal and professional struggles that the familiar faces are currently going through”.
In another statement, Kirsten and Amy shared: "We're so excited to have the opportunity to share our story with viewers once again, showing them the unfiltered reality of our world. We're passionate about what we do and it’s been humbling to see the audience response to the first series. We can’t wait to get going on series 2.”
Viewers can expect to see the new series on BBC Scotland channel and BBC iPlayer in 2024. Series 1 is available now on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three from Monday, May 29.
