If there is one thing that we can all absolutely agree on, it's that we absolutely cannot stop talking about air fryers.
With the energy-saving appliance gaining a lot of attention due to the cost of living crisis, many air fryer fans have been sharing their recipes and hacks that cost just pennies to make.
And now one Aldi shopper has shared her own budget-friendly snack that she created after she purchased a 38p tin of peeled potatoes from the supermarket, reports The Manchester Evening News.
Taking to a Tower Air Fryer Group on social media, the shopper wrote: "So tried the 38p potatoes from Aldi, not something I would ever buy, but OMG!
"I used a cap of olive oil, cayenne pepper, paprika and garlic powder. 18 mins on 200. Absolutely beautiful."
The woman, who also made some skin on fries with baking potatoes at the same time, told the Manchester Evening News: "Honestly I’d never buy them, but they were gorgeous."
Many other shoppers quickly flocked to the comments to agree that the budget snack was "lovely" and that they had tried it out for themselves a few times.
"These are a dirty little secret," said one. While another added: "Yes I have done this as well a few times, lovely."
Other said they would soon be giving them a go, including one follower, who said: "I'm definitely going to try this, they look delicious."
It is the latest potato snack that shoppers have been making in their air fryers, as many on social media have shared how they have been using potato peelings to make air fryer crisps.
If you are still on the hunt for an air fryer, then you can still get the Tower Vortx models from Tower, Argos, Amazon and Currys. Prices can vary depending on the size that you choose.
