Millions of people are set to receive a £324 cost of living payment from the government this autumn. More than seven million people received £326 into their bank accounts in July - or September if you're on tax credits - in the first instalment of a combined £650 payment aimed at helping those most impacted by the cost of living crisis.
And the UK government is soon to confirm exactly when the second payment - worth £324 - will be paid to eligible households. As well as the £650 for households on benefits, separate payments are being made soon including a further £150 to disabled people and £300 to pensioners in a bumper winter fuel payment this year, reports Leicestershire Live. It is expected all three of those payments will be made by the end of the year.
Here is what you need to know about the second cost of living payment including who is eligible and when you're likely to receive it.
