Player sales will be just as important as incomings for Arsenal during the final six weeks of the summer transfer window.
Whilst the Gunners have been extremely busy so far - signing four players in Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos, and closing in on a fifth in the form of Oleksandr Zinchenko - the only high-profile departures have been Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Frenchman is leaving as a free agent because his contract expired at the end of June. It means Arsenal have only been able to recoup around £11m in transfer fees, with the latter pair joining Marseille and Stuttgart permanently, respectively, following successful loan spells last season.

But that could be about to change in the coming weeks as reports coming out of Spain claim Real Betis have a plan to raise funds to meet the north London outfit's asking price to sign Hector Bellerin, which as per Sport Witness, is said to be in the region of €20m (£17.1m).
According to @elchiringuitotv, Betis hope to take advantage of Brighton and Hove Albion as well as Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest's interest in Alex Moreno by selling left-back for £20m-£25m this summer and then use the money to bring back Bellerin in addition to signing Houssem Aouar.
Of course, the Frenchman is a name familiar to many Arsenal supporters, having previously been tipped to become Bellerin's teammate in north London ahead of the 2020/21 season, where his £53million valuation ultimately priced him out of a move, and he's remained at Lyon ever since.
With that said, it remains to be seen how Betis would be able to pull off this triple deal, especially when taking into consideration that reports in France have claimed Aouar can leave Lyon for as little as £12.6m - a considerable drop from what president Jean-Michel Aulas was previously demanding from Arsenal.
Suppose the La Liga outfit does manage to bank £25m for Moreno and buy Bellerin for £17.1m. In that case, that will leave £7.9m in the transfer kitty, so they would need to get a little creative in order to sign Aouar too, and there have been reports of a player exchange to help with negotiations with Lyon.
For Arsenal, this could be a chance to earn a transfer fee for Bellerin, and it would appear that the Spaniard is very much open to returning to Betis after spending last season on loan with the club where he was part of their Copa Del Rey success.
"I have made my position clear to both clubs," he told Betis TV in May. "Now we have two months to get the best deal for all three parties. I have always said I made an effort to come here, and I am willing to make every effort to keep it going because it is my home, and I am happy.
"It is also true that I had very nice moments in London, in England. Arsenal has given me a lot, the opportunity to be a professional. If I leave, it will be difficult, but hopefully, everything goes as we want."
