Hey, it’s nearly NHL Stadium Series time!
The New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers will play on Saturday, February 17, followed by the New York Rangers and New York Islanders the next day on Sunday, all outdoors at MetLife Stadium (brrr!). Of course, it’ll be a blast, because outdoor hockey is the best hockey.
And each of those teams have their own sweaters for that occasion, as is the tradition. So we decided it was a good time to rank them with the threads dropping on Friday. A couple are nice. The others? Meh.
Let’s dive in from worst to best:
4
New York Islanders
Sorry, friends. This one is kind of bland. I like the coloring and the old-school nature of it, but … not the best.
3
New York Rangers
Full disclosure: I’m a Rangers fan. But the letters are VERY VERY BIG. And the sleeves are a little much.
2
Philadelphia Flyers
Clean, but docked points because … doesn’t every Flyers jersey like every other Flyers jersey? C’mon!
1
New Jersey Devils
Simple, and that orange-red is giving full on hell vibes. Bravo.
