The 2022/23 final Championship table predicted now teams are known as Watford tipped for title, Swansea City to challenge and Sunderland gatecrash

Swansea Sunderland Swansea City Watford Rorham Burnley Cardiff Huddersfield Town Middlesbrough Preston

The final ball of the Championship season has been kicked and we now know who the 24 teams are for the 2022/23 season.

Nottingham Forest's 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Championship play-off final means the line-up for next term is now confirmed.

It was a case of third-time lucky for Steve Cooper in the play-offs, having suffered heartache in the past two years with Swansea City. Forest's accession to the promised land means it will be the Terriers who will remain in the second tier alongside both Welsh clubs.
