If you're a huge fan of using fake tan to get that sun-kissed glow for less, then you'll know that it comes with its very own set of beauty difficulties.
Not only can it occasionally leave you with patchy elbows and knees or streaks, but avid users will know that it also can cause a bit of a mess for your bed sheets.
But, that orange silhouette on your nice, crisp bed sheets could be a thing of the past, as one savvy shopper thinks that a product found in Next will solve the problem.
The shopper took to social media to share a £20 item that she purchased from the British high-street retailer and it has gone viral, reports The Manchester Evening News.
The high-street retailer has said that the nifty item is "designed so you are able to sleep comfortably in your usual bedding - but without the mess!"
Ellie Pearce took to TikTok to share how Next is selling an ingenious 'self tan bed sheet protector' that can protect your bed linen from your fake tan application.
Sharing the video on the social media app, she captioned it: "Everyone who fake tans needs this."
The video sharing the genius item has since gone viral on the app, as it has managed to rack up 108.9k likes and over 4,00 comments from shoppers who say they "need" the item.
In the eight-second video, Ellie demonstrates how the bed sheet protector works to her 3146 followers by showing how it simply goes over your existing bedding and pillows, and stops your tan from transferring onto your bed sheets.
In the comment section of her video, Ellie wrote: 'It hooks over your pillow too and won’t ruin your bed sheets, it's fab if your tanning at someone else’s too.'
Understandably, fake tan enthusiasts have flocked to the comments section of the video to tag friends and family to let them know about the fake tan tip.
One girl commented: "I swear you’ve saved my life haha. I time my bed washing with my fake tan."
Another tagged their friend and joked: "You should get one n bring it to mine so u don’t get fake tan on my sheets again."
While a third said: "This is actually smart for like hotels, other people's houses and that."
A fourth tagged their friend and commented: "will be getting you this for my house."
A fifth simply called the beauty hack "genius."
However, not everyone was sold on the bed sheet protector, as they felt like a simple dark bed sheet for less would give the same results.
"They think of everything these days. I think a dark sheet would do the same job at a fraction of the price xxx", commented one girl.
While another said: "Or just buy a dark duvet set from Tesco for a tenner."
While not everyone was sold on the product, it has turned out to be relatively popular, as it has sold out in two of the four colours already.
The grey and dark colours are currently unavailable, while the pink and navy are currently still in stock - so, you might want to snap yours up quick!
Next's £20 self tan bed sheet protector is available online and in-stores now.
