Summer has long been the time when flies appear floating in our drinks but this year a new 1p hack is set to change the game. The trick was shared in 2019 by wine brand Silver Bay Point and has been used by many people ever since.
The best part of the hack is that you will probably have all the tools you will need at home already. To stop those pesky flies from landing in your glass, a paper cupcake case is all you need.
Manchester Evening News reports that you can pick up a pack of 100 cupcake cases for 70p in supermarket Asda. It means that one paper cupcake case works out at less than a penny.
