It will soon be decision time at Tottenham as Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici get their plans in place for next season. Now in the final week of this term, Spurs bring the curtain down on the 2021/22 campaign at Norwich City on Sunday and they have their destiny in their own hands as they look to seal a Champions League spot.
A top-four finish would be a gamechanger for the club, thus putting them in a very good position to attract some real quality to north London as they aim to take the squad to the next level. While it's only natural that there will be a focus on incomings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, outgoings will also be on the agenda as Conte looks to shape his Spurs squad in order to help the club end their silverware drought.
So which of the current players have question marks hanging over their head ahead of the summer transfer window opening for business? football.london takes a look.

Pierluigi Gollini
Signed on loan from Atalanta last summer, Gollini has made a total of ten appearances in all competitions for Tottenham in 2021/22. Spurs do have the option to sign him permanently if they so wish but that money really could be spent better elsewhere, especially as football.london reported at the start of April that the Lilywhites are the current favourites to sign Sam Johnstone on a free transfer from West Brom.
Matt Doherty
Struggling for regular minutes once again during the first part of the season, Doherty was given his chance in the side by Conte in the middle of February and he didn't look back. Contributing with goals and assists, it was a major blow when the Republic of Ireland international sustained a season-ending knee injury away at Aston Villa last month.
Right wing-back is very much a position Spurs will look at this summer and any potential incoming will likely mean one of Doherty or Emerson Royal heads for the exit door.
Emerson Royal
Emerson has had his struggles during his maiden Premier League campaign but he is finishing the season strongly with Tottenham. Always going to be tough for the player to adapt to a more attacking role after spending his career playing as a right-back, he unfortunately just isn't the right player for Conte's system as his attacking play lets him down at times.
Spurs shouldn't be short of options if Emerson is to depart from north London after one year at the club.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
Carter-Vickers has enjoyed quite the season after playing a major role in Celtic's title triumph. The Scottish giants do have the option to buy him, which football.london understands is around £6million up front with potential add-ons that could make it £10million in all eventually.
Needing a permanent move for the sake of his own career after seven loan spells away from the club, there will be plenty of offers on the table if he doesn't rejoin Celtic on a permanent basis.
Sergio Reguilon
Doing well in his first season at the club, Reguilon has found himself in and out of the team during the second part of this campaign with Ryan Sessegnon getting regular minutes under Conte. The ex-Fulham man is quite clearly the more natural in the left wing-back role, with Reguilon admitting that this is the first time he has played there.
Amid speculation over a return to Spain in the past and the possibility that Spurs look to strengthen there to really get the best out of Conte's setup, Reguilon has a few question marks over his position at Tottenham heading into the summer.
Joe Rodon
Rodon has managed to get on the pitch for the last few minutes in Tottenham's last two games but it's clear to see that he needs to be playing elsewhere next term. However, Spurs must decide whether he departs on loan or on a permanent basis.
Clearly a very good defender after impressing on Wales duty numerous times in the past, a loan switch may be the better option as a permanent exit could quite easily come back to bite Spurs in the future given how highly he is rated.
Japhet Tanganga
Tanganga has had another frustrating season with injury forcing him to spend a large chunk of time on the sidelines. Not going to force his way into the back three, a loan spell could be worth considering as it would do the player the world of good as was the case with Oliver Skipp when he linked up with Norwich City.
That will all depend on Tottenham's options at the back, however, as they cannot leave themselves too short in that area of the pitch given the amount of games they will have on the agenda very soon.
Giovani Lo Celso
Tottenham shouldn't have too much problem moving on Lo Celso this summer after such a successful time on loan at Villarreal. Playing his part in their incredible run to the semi-finals, Daniel Levy will want to recoup as much money as possible for the Argentine after shelling out top dollar for him in 2019.
Conte's decision to loan him out in January highlights that he quite clearly isn't in his plans.
Tanguy Ndombele
Spurs also need to try and part with fellow 2019 arrival Ndombele this summer after such an underwhelming spell in the capital. The French international just hasn't lived up to his price tag and Tottenham are really going to struggle to get anywhere near the money they paid out.
A loan will have to be considered if a permanent exit doesn't come to fruition.
Harry Winks
Winks faces a crucial few months in his career after falling down the pecking order at Tottenham. Seeing Oliver Skipp move ahead of him at the beginning of the season, he slipped another place at the turn of the year following Rodrigo Bentancur's move to the club.
Winks has had to make do with limited pitch time this term and it's hard to see his situation improving with those ahead of him. Needing to play regularly, this could be the summer his time in N17 comes to an end.
Pape Matar Sarr
Sarr will link up with his Tottenham teammates for the first time in pre-season after immediately heading back to Metz on loan last August following his transfer to Spurs. In and out of the French side over the course of the campaign, the Senegal international will be intent on catching Conte's eye and forcing his way into his plans.
However, that may all depend on whether the head coach believes the youngster is in a position where he can adapt to the Premier League and play his part for the team over the year.
Steven Bergwijn
Starting the season in Nuno Espirito Santo's team and performing well, Bergwijn has had to settle for minutes here and there under Conte. Linked with Ajax back in January, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the 24-year-old return to his homeland over the coming months as he needs to be playing regularly ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
Bergwijn is a decent option for Spurs to have but it's no good for him if he isn't going to be playing week in, week out.
Jack Clarke
Clarke will enter the final 12 months of his four-year contract when he returns from his loan spell at Sunderland at the end of the campaign. Really catching the eye at the Stadium of Light, he is another who needs to move on elsewhere so he can get the regular minutes he requires.
Bryan Gil
Returning to Spain on loan in January after a lack of minutes for Tottenham in the first few months of the campaign, Conte and Paratici have a big decision to make over what comes next for the winger. Tottenham have a very special player on their hands in Gil but it's all going to depend on whether Conte believes he is ready or not to be a regular in the Spurs squad with lots of football coming next season.
If not, a loan move to a fellow Premier League club would be ideal so he can get used to playing in England's top flight.
Lucas Moura
Lucas is a favourite of Conte and would no doubt be in the team if Dejan Kulusevski didn't join from Juventus in January. However, this could be the ideal summer to move him on for a decent fee if Tottenham are going to look at upgrading their attack as he will enter the final two years of his contract in July and then turn 30 the following month.
Lucas' future may all rest on what Conte and Paratici have planned up top.
