Donald Trump is reportedly handing out his go-to brand of affordable dress shoes to his aides, officials, and visiting VIPs.
Many recipients of the Florsheim shoes, a Wisconsin-based brand, reportedly feel obliged to wear the shoes when in Trump's presence.
Trump frequently praises the “incredible” shoes during official meetings and inquires whether aides have received their pair, sometimes guessing shoe sizes.
Prominent figures such as Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and others are among those who have received the shoes.
One cabinet secretary reportedly expressed dissatisfaction at having to wear the $145 shoes instead of his preferred Louis Vuittons.
