Kosta Nedeljkovic has revealed his ambition to emulate the attacking prowess of Rangers legend James Tavernier.
The Serbian right-back joined the Ibrox side on a season-long loan from Aston Villa and debuted in the 1-0 Conference League play-off triumph over Jablonec.
Tavernier, a highly productive full-back, left a significant void following his departure after 11 successful years at Rangers. He is one of the players vying to fill this gap.
Despite acknowledging the former captain's influence, Nedeljkovic remains focused on his own game. He said: "Everyone knows James Tavernier, of course; I watched Rangers before.
"So I know he was here 10 years or more. I don’t feel the pressure because I just focus on myself, but I really liked how he played his style of football, so I want to be dominant defensively, but also to have a lot of assists and goals.

"So I want to be like him in the final third."
Nedeljkovic is eager to combine defensive authority with attacking productivity.
The young defender believes Rangers provides the perfect environment to develop these aspects of his game, especially after a knee injury kept him sidelined for two-and-a-half months last season.
He added: "Rangers are a big club; I can progress here. I want to play for a club that always attacks in every game.
"For me, this is very important."
