
If I had a quid from every person who has told me how much rain we’ve had in the UK so far this year, I’d have enough to fund a flight to escape it — and them — altogether.
As such, here we are, collectively staring down the barrel of what weather experts are forecasting as 13 days of wall-to-wall rain. At this point, who isn’t ready to put winter to bed? In an attempt to upward spiral, I’m (perhaps optimistically) calling it: the first of the spring showers.
