The 10 Leeds neighbourhoods where you wouldn't want to go after dark have been calculated, according to crime reports and the latest crime rates.
Crimerate.co.uk calculated the rates of crime in the West Yorkshire city, finding it the most dangerous overall in the UK. The site takes crime rates per street and calculates the rate per population.
The overall crime rate in Leeds in 2022 was 172 crimes per 1,000 people. The three areas with the highest neighbourhoods rates were Leeds City Centre, Armley & New Wortley and Osmondthorpe & Neville Hill.

Crimerate.co.uk said on its site: "The most common crimes in Leeds are violence and sexual offences, with 36,393 offences during 2022, giving a crime rate of 71.
"This is 8% higher than 2021's figure of 33,738 offences and a difference of 5.20 from 2021's crime rate of 66. Leeds's least common crimes are possession of weapons, with 909 offences recorded in 2022, an increase of 23% from 2021's figure of 741 crimes."
