The Masked Singer fans are convinced that Jellyfish is an American singing star. As viewers settled down to watch the third episode of the new series of the ITV guessing game tonight (January 14) they thought they instantly recognised her voice as she belted out Take Me To Church.
Stunned panellist Rita Ora said it was "one of the best vocals" she had heard on the wacky show, which has stars singing in disguise in elaborate costumes as armchair detectives watching at home and on the celeb panel attempt to work out who they are.
As the guesses came in, many fans said they had worked out that Jellyfish is Glee star Amber Riley. One clue is that Jellyfish is "synonymous with mononymous", and the American star Amber is also known mononymously - a name composed of only one word - as RILEY.

She played Glee Club singer Mercedes Jones on the Fox comedy-drama series Glee from 2009 to 2015. For her performance on the much-loved series she and the rest of the cast won a Screen Actors Guild Award and have been nominated for a Grammy Award.
She won a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Effie White in the West End debut of Dreamgirls. If Jellyfish is Amber it will be a double disguise triumph because last year she won the American series of The Masked Singer as harp.
