Inter Miami manager Phil Neville has slammed Chicago Fire's head coach Ezra Hendrickson for his 'b*******' comments about his team being 'too narrow' in their 3-2 MLS defeat.
Fire managed to establish a two-goal lead during an eight-minute period in the first half as Christopher Mueller and Carlos Teran got themselves on the scoresheet. Franco Negri pulled a goal back for Neville's men deep into stoppage time at the end of the first 45 to give Miami hope of a comeback.
And the omens looked good for the Herons when, in the 76th minute, Nicolas Stefanelli equalised. However, heartbreak was to come when former Norwich City and Middlesbrough striker Kei Kamara scored late on to secure Fire's first victory in the Eastern Conference.

Post-match, Hendrickson claimed that his team were able to exploit Miami's weakness of being too narrow and leaving the back post free. However, the former United player was quick to dispute those comments when they were posed to him.
Neville replied: "That’s b******* really, I honestly think it is because I think you have just got to defend. You think about the first goal, it had nothing to do with the way that we defend.
"The last goal had nothing to do with the way we defend." While Neville may not agree with Hendrickson's thoughts, he will be hard pressed to argue that the pressure is now on for him.
After back-to-back 2-0 victories, Miami have now lost three in a row and sit ninth in the Eastern Conference, six points behind leaders New England Revolution.
