'Thank you and farewell': First woman to lead ACT public service retires

Long-serving ACT public service chief Kathy Leigh is retiring after 12 years in the dual role of head of service and chief minister and treasury directorate director-general.

Ms Leigh told public service colleagues in an email headed "Thank you and farewell" that she had advised Chief Minister Andrew Barr of her decision to leave.
