Thane: NCP, RPI workers clash at Ulhasnagar ex-MLA Pappu Kalani's bungalow after dispute on WhatsApp group

ULHASNAGAR: The workers of two political parties — Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Republican Party of India (RPI) — fought with each other inside the bungalow of former Ulhasnagar MLA Pappu Kalani.

Police deployed heavy security as tension prevailed in the area falling under Maharashra's Thane district.

The fight took place late night on Thursday after a dispute took place on a WhatsApp group between former mayor and RPI leader Bhagwan Bhalerao and NCP's Ulhasnagar's spokesperson Kamlesh Nikam.
