Thai BBQ bar Neon Tiger set to become a Juicebox wine, coffee and bottle shop

The Bridge Street spot Neon Tiger is all set to become a Juicebox - the independent wine, coffee and bottle shop that already has an outpost in Didsbury. It’s being opened up by Bigger Boat, the company behind Bunny Jackson’s, Junior Jackson’s, Wolf at the Door, Lost Cat and Liqour & Burn.

It will open its doors for business on July 1. Neon Tiger, the Thai barbecue restaurant which opened its doors in 2022, sadly closed last month after barely a year of trading. Prior to that, the unit was a Grindsmith’s coffee shop.

Juicebox hopes to continue the success of the Didsbury shop, which sells a wide range of low-intervention natural wines and craft beers, as well as small plates coming from the kitchen. The Bridge Street spot will also stock ‘store cupboard essentials, super tasty snacks and fancy deli goods’.
