TGI Fridays staff said they were left 'gutted' by a scathing review after an Edinburgh diner hit out at the restaurant's 'small portions and poor service'.
The American-style food chain were forced to respond to critical feedback left on TripAdvisor, following the customer's visit to the TGI Fridays diner at Fort Kinnaird.

In response, the TGI's marketing team said: 'we're hearing you, tough to take though it is'.
The diner left a lengthy comment on TripAdvisor which said: "Pre booked a table, got seated, ordered drinks and food, three out of the full four meals came, but once the fajita wraps arrived, the guacamole, salsa and yoghurt were there, but there was no chicken fajita.
"We waited a couple of minutes and asked a passing server who said they would go and see. Still nothing, so we asked another one, nothing. Ten minutes later we asked another waiter who brought it.
"The price has gone up but the portion sizes are less and there is no coleslaw with burgers.
"Very poor slow customer service, no value for money at all. We won't be back anytime soon."
TGI Friday's responded to say they 'mostly had rave reviews' and commented: "We're hearing you, tough to take though it is.
"Looks like you didn't have the kind of experience that we're famous for, we're gutted when that happens. Mostly we've had rave reviews about the food and excellent team, but even we can have an off day.
"When you're ready, give us another try, you'll find a five-star Fridays welcome waiting for you."
Fort Kinnaird's TGI Friday's gains an average rating of 3.5 out of 5 on TripAdvisor, with some customers hailing the '5 star experience' and others praising the 'great food' and 'amazing service'.
