Texas 'Pokémon TCG' Shop Robbed of More Than $100,000 in Cards

A "Pokémon TCG" shop in Texas has suffered a major loss after four suspects reportedly stole more than $100,000 worth of trading cards. The break-in also caused around $25,000 in property damage.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game has become a huge global collecting and gaming phenomenon. Certain cards command high prices on the secondary market. Some can even reach millions of dollars. Popular new releases can also sell out quickly when demand outpaces supply.
