Texas Official Suspended Over 1-Second 'Pole Dancing' Video: If That's Her Biggest Skeleton 'We're All Screwed'

A Texas city manager's career is now at stake after a 1-second video of her dancing made the rounds on Facebook.

Dayton City Manager Kimberly Judge was seen "pole dancing" in a since-deleted video that outraged council members because it might have been taken after business hours during a work trip, according to reporting from KHOU 11.

"The main issue I had was...it was a city-paid trip. Leaders don't take taxpayer dollars and then go act a fool while you're representing the city," councilmember Adam Spear told KHOU 11.

In a statement obtained by KHOU 11, the city manager's PR team denied the allegations, asserting the video was taken before Judge became city manager and alleging it was released as a "low-level smear campaign."

The timing of the video's release is questionable since the city manager recently filed racial and sexual discrimination complaints against several council members. The claims are currently being investigated and have yet to be substantiated.

City Councilmember Rhonda Johnson said the allegations are "really and truly scapegoating" while fellow Councilmember Courtney Wheeler said, "If that's the biggest skeleton in her closet, then we're all screwed."

Ultimately, the City Council voted to place Judge on administrative leave while they investigate the video's context, including where and when it was taken.
