A Texas father who spent nearly half his life in the United States says he was sent to Mali after being deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to Ghana, despite a judge's ruling that he could face persecution if returned to his home country.

Moussa Diawara, 57, is now fighting to return to his American wife and two children after being left homeless and fearing for his safety, according to a 60 Minutes investigation.
