The Houston Texans worked out three players on Thursday according to a league source.
The Texans worked out cornerback Kris Boyd, running back Zander Horvath, and receiver Dezmon Patmon.
Boyd previously was with the Arizona Cardinals where he played four games, collecting two combined tackles. The former Minnesota Vikings 2019 seventh-round pick played 58 games with his original draft club from 2019-22.
Horvath is a former Los Angeles Chargers 2022 seventh-round fullback. Last year, Horvath started in two of his 15 games active, and spent 257 snaps on special teams compared to 110 on offense.
Patmon, a former Indianapolis Colts 2020 sixth-round pick, spent the offseason and training camp with the Buffalo Bills. Patmon was recently on the Panthers’ practice squad until Sept. 12.
