Last season, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history. Stroud threw for 4,108 yards over 15 starts with a 23 to 5 touchdown to interception ratio. So it makes sense folks are going to want to know what he thinks of the unprecedented quarterback class of 2024.
Stroud was asked which of the 2024 quarterbacks is most NFL-ready and he went with New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. The Patriots selected Maye No. 3 overall out of the University of North Carolina. He went after the Chicago Bears chose Caleb Williams No. 1 overall and the Washington Commanders took LSU’s Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 pick.

Maye has been strong this offseason with rave reviews coming in. The film on Maye doesn’t lie. He’s an exceptional decision-maker with a volume of skills with his arm and his legs. Maye has some big shoes to fill following the Tom Brady era but does have all the makings of a franchise quarterback.
