According to witnesses, two lanes of the East Lancs road were closed. Police confirmed that no injuries or casualties have been reported yet, and said they believed the presence of the ambulance and fire services was cautionary given the business of the road.
The ECHO cannot confirm if the two lanes have since reopened at this time.
