Tesco urges customers who bought tablets not to take them

Tesco is recalling a line of tablets amid concerns over illegal levels of a chemical ingredient.

The supermarket has asked shoppers to return Tesco Health Omega 3 Fish Oil 30, 90 and 240 capsules after discovering raised levels of glycidol. The amount of glycidol contained in the capsules is above the legal limit.

Customers who have followed the dosage advice are urged not to panic as the raised levels shouldn't affect their health.
