Supermarket giant Tesco has impressed shoppers with a £5 per person meal so much, they say they'll never go out to eat at an expensive restaurant again. The supermarket giant stunned fans with the £10 dish for two - which works out at a very reasonable £5 per person.
Tesco is selling two packs of Finest sirloin steaks with a cheese fondue to dip it in, and shoppers can't get enough of it. The 624G packs of Tesco Finest Sirloin Steak & Cheese Fondue cost £13 each.
However, if you have a Clubcard the price goes down to £10. Shoppers who have found the kit have praised it, and say it's a good alternative to eating out if you want a gourmet-style meal on a budget as the cost of living crisis worsens.
We checked online, and the average price for steak and cheese fondue is around £35 per person at restaurants. That makes for a £60 saving if two of you tuck in.
Posting on the popular Snack Reviews Facebook page, Katie Waugh shared a picture of the delicious £10 Tesco meal. She wrote: "Found in Tesco. £10 with Tesco clubcard."
Her post was met with hundreds of comments and likes. Jaz Ridout said: "Yes please."
