A gran who was scammed out of £1,000 through a Tesco trolley scheme while shopping has revealed she has been scarred for life.
Lola Sledmere, 88, was targeted by selfish fraudsters during a supermarket visit. She had £1,000 taken at various cashpoints as far as 47 miles from her home over a two day period.
Lola confirmed she was distracted by a man when she went to return her trolley in the car park of the shop and believes another crook sneaked into her car, just yards away, to take her card.
