Tesco shoppers have been urged to consider paying a fee of £2.49 a month that could see them save money over time as the cost of living continues to rise. The supermarket giant has introduced three delivery saver schemes, which for many could see a cheaper monthly cost than driving to their nearest supermarket.
The reintroduction of delivery membership comes after they stopped during the pandemic so that those people most vulnerable could be prioritised. Many people are now carefully working out ways to make their money go further as food, petrol, energy and other bills soar.
Tesco's new click-and-collect membership plan and two new delivery saver tiers, starting from £2.49 a month, aim to give customers more choice and flexibility when it comes to doing the weekly shop, the LiverpoolEcho reports. Customers can convert their clubcard vouchers into cashback to use towards delivery.
