Tesco shoppers say some checkouts scanned £500-worth of food for £100

Supermarket giant Tesco sent shoppers wild with a self-checkout glitch that meant that a customer scanned £500-worth of food for £100. Some others found their totals were in the minus sum due to the glitch.

But while some shoppers were delighted by the glitch, others have been left furious. The glitch was shared on a popular Facebook group.

Birmingham Live reported that this Tesco shopper ended up with a total of -£150.75 on just seven items. The customer claims that they were able to check out despite this clearly inaccurate sum.
