Tesco shoppers are praising a new wrap available in its meal deal, with one happy customer saying it was "tastier" than a similar product from Pret.
The supermarket giant's meal deal has been a lunchtime staple for many workers for years. With a sandwich or other "main", a snack, and a drink on offer for a fixed price, there has even been much debate over the best possible combination.
Recent years have seen Facebook groups with names such as "Rate my meal deal" pop up.

And now a new wrap is receiving rave reviews online. Tesco's Pesto Chicken and Sundried Tomato Wrap was recently added to its meal deal offering.
One Tesco shopper was so pleased with the product, she took to a "Meal Deal fans" Facebook group to discuss it. She said: "Always been a Southern Fried chicken gal but this one is amazing.
"Similar to one from Pret but tastier if anything. Not sure why I'm posting really as I kind of want to keep it to myself."
Other customers agreed with the woman, as one added: "Tried this the other day, definitely my new favourite", and a second said: "Ooh not tried this yet but looks good to be fair".
Reviewing the wrap on Tesco's website, one shopper said: "Just tried this for my lunch and loved it, definitely my new favourite wrap", and a second said: "So good, my new favourite. I'll be going in early to get it though cause all the nice ones sell out by 11am in my store".
