Christmas has barely finished, and Tesco shoppers have hit out as the supermarket giant is already lining its aisles with Easter treats.
While many people may be embarking on healthy eating plans after some festive indulgence, others are expected to get their hands on Easter eggs early on it seems. Shoppers have been taken aback by the seasonal goods already on shelves.
Taking to Twitter, actor Rufus Wright said: "Hey @Tesco going big on Easter Eggs 4 days after Christmas Day…. Well, it’s just p***ing everybody off. Any thoughts?"

The tweet has racked up thousands of views, retweets and replies, with Steve saying: "I remember the time they used to wait until after New Year. Probably going to have Halloween in April now". Carolyn said: "I saw hot cross buns in Asda on Boxing Day!"
A similar tweet from CBBC Newsround presenter Shanequa Paris showed a photo of £1.25 Easter eggs on sale in Tesco. Shanequa said: "We haven’t reached 2023 yet and Tesco are already selling Easter eggs". Replying to her tweet, Lizzy said: "It's not even January this is outrageous".
