Tesco shoppers have had divided opinions on the retailer selling 'Christmas' chocolates in the middle of summer.
From this week, in the middle of August, some stores have had huge displays of tubs of chocolates - including Cadbury Heroes, Roses and Celebrations. Despite the sun scorching, the supermarket is making customers feel festive as they have started to sell the sweet treats that are normally only seen in the colder months.
But shoppers in the store can't agree on whether or not it is a good thing. While a lot of people are overjoyed to be able to buy the chocolates early, others have said that it is "too soon" to have them on display.

Taking to Twitter, Carmel said: "Yes I know it’s only August but Tesco are advertising their Christmas vegan range and I have to say it all looks delicious. #Tesco #Vegan." Sal said: "Saw in Tesco today that they have put the chocolate tubs out for Christmas. It's starting!! #holidaysarecoming."
Meanwhile, one user said: "So Tesco already have a mountain of Christmas chocolate tubs on display as soon as you walk in. Waaaaay too soon."
Another user said: "Just noticed our local @Tesco are now selling the Christmas tubs of chocolates - I want to buy some but I know there is no way in hell we won’t touch them before the end of the week, Nevermind #christmas."
Tesco have also unveiled their Christmas food menu, this week, including sticky toffee cheese and candy cane pigs in blankets. Shoppers will be able to buy their Christmas turkey in store as from September 19. However, most of the festive range won't actually launch until November.
