Tesco shoppers have said they're checking their receipts after a man walked away with an incredible bargain.
The happy customer took to a popular Facebook budget group to share his happy surprise when he went to scan an item. He was blown away when he realised how much it cost.
The man said: "I get a few bargains over my time but I think todays one is the best. 2kg or vending sugar (bit like caster sugar) 1p a bag.

"Yep 1p. There wasn’t a price on it so I asked the lady at the till she scanned it and said 'well erm... it’s a penny'. I said 'ok thanks', went back and cleared the shelf.
"Only had 6 bags there but I won’t have to buy sugar again this year. Happy days."
He showed his Tesco receipt which did in fact show he managed to get six 2kg bags of sugar for just 6p in total. And other bargain hunters were amazed by what he managed to find, Birmingham Live reports.
One shopper said: "Awesome bargain, good on you for clearing the shelf, if it saves you money in the long run then why not?". A second said: "Ooo I’m a baker and this would be amazing!! Never even seen this sugar in my Tesco so not holding out much hope that I’ll find it for 1p." [sic]
A third said: "I need something like this to happen to me. I go through so much sugar. And it’s only me that’s using it!" A fourth added: "I always buy sugar, I'll be checking my receipts".
