A Tesco shopper expressed her shock after seeing a box of fish fingers on sale for £7.50 in her local supermarket.
The customer was so surprised by the price tag next to the pack of Bird’s Eye 30 Cod Fish Fingers, they decided to double check it at the tills. Expecting them to cost around £4, the shopper couldn’t believe price of the 30 pack, and decided to buy a box of Tesco own brand for £3.30 instead.
But the incensed shopper shared news of the experience on Mumsnet’s Am I Being Unreasonable thread, to see what other people thought. The forum member wrote: “In Tesco today. Birds Eye normal cod fish fingers. 30 pack, so the largest of the standard size packets but not a huge pack. And they were £7.50!! How much?! For bloody fish fingers!
