A warning has been issued to shoppers over fake £1,000 vouchers for leading supermarkets.
Fraudsters have launched attacks on unsuspecting victims, using scam emails to promise shopping vouchers for the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons. Scammers are asking recipients to click on a link in the email if they want to enter the 'draw'.
And with Christmas nearly upon us, many are being enticed by the offers of extra cash. But instead of bagging a hefty voucher, victims have seen their personal information or their finances stolen as the link may contain malware.
