Tesco has given Clubcard customers a huge boost ahead of Christmas with revamp of Clubcard coupons. More than four million customers using the Tesco Clubcard & Grocery app will now receive personalised coupons every two weeks – three times more often than before.
The tailored coupons will be selected based on the customer’s tastes and include bonus points and instant discounts for them to use both in-store and online. And with the digital coupons ready to use in one convenient scan of their Clubcard, customers will no longer have to worry about rummaging around in their bag to find their paper coupons.
Tesco’s Chief Customer Officer, Alessandra Bellini, said: “Our customers love the way their Clubcard helps them save money on their shopping whilst earning Clubcard points to put towards those little treats like days out and restaurant meals, or to help lower the cost of their groceries and fuel.
“This exciting new revamp of our personalised Clubcard Coupons is the latest way we’re rewarding our customers and helping them unlock the power of their Clubcard.”
The old standalone Clubcard app will be closing in 2023 and Tesco will be giving customers notice before it does, showing them how to download the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard App in a few simple steps.
The Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app helps customers shop in-store and online, earn Clubcard points and use Clubcard coupons and vouchers. It also has a number of other new features, including:
· a Store Stock Checker, so customers can head out safe in the knowledge that the product they are looking for is available in their local store;
· a Shopping List function, to help customers plan their shop and stick to budget;
· payment in store barcode, allowing customers to add a payment card to their Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app so they can pay for their shopping, save with Clubcard Prices, collect Clubcard points and use coupons with just simple scan.
Customers who receive their Clubcard statement and vouchers by post will continue to do so, should they wish to.
