Tesco Ireland has warned customers across Ireland to check their Clubcard vouchers which could be included in the €1 million worth set to expire.
Introduced in 1997, the Tesco Clubcard scheme sees holders collect 1 point for every €1 spent, with points then turned into vouchers which can be subtracted from one's shopping bill.
Close to €1 million in vouchers were sent out in March 2021 are set to expire on May 21 next month.

Following a survey this month, Tesco Ireland revealed that nearly 75% have lost or misplaced paper money-off vouchers and are urging their customers to check their app to see if they still have unused coupons available.
Cathal Deavy, Customer Director, Tesco Ireland said: “Everyone loves a little win, be it finding some cash in an old jacket pocket or a money-off voucher you forgot you had."
He stressed that now is the time to check your app, with less than one month before the expiry date for the batch of Clubcard vouchers.
Tesco Ireland has been working to further digitise the Clubcard programme and in recent months has made it easier for customers to access savings.
Using the Tesco Ireland app, once a Clubcard customer has 150 points or more, they can turn their Clubcard points into vouchers instantly.
Vouchers can be exchanged for greater than their value with the following Reward Partners: Tesco Mobile Ireland, Dublin Zoo, Milano, Disney+, ODEON Cinemas, The AA, Irish Ferries, Stena Line, Center Parcs, Hotels.com and Royal Caribbean International, to name a few.
Customers can also donate their vouchers to Tesco’s charity partner, Children’s Health Foundation.
