Tesco is launching a half-price toy sale ahead of the Easter holidays. The discounts are on popular toy brands including Barbie, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Go Play, Bunch O Balloons, Scentos, and Little Timbers.
More than 70 toys will be included in the sale, which runs until April 30. It will feature a number of "creative toy lines" such as Playdoh, Kinetic Sand and Scentos.
With summer just around the corner, also included are outdoor toys including sand pits and water blasters. Other popular items in the sale are cuddly plush toys, which the supermarket says are among its current best sellers.
Tesco category manager for toys, nursery and sport, Anne Borrett said: “We know with the Easter holidays coming up many parents will be looking for toy bargains to keep their youngsters amused during the school break. We’ll have plenty of those and with the start of spring just around the corner we will have a good range of outdoor toys including water blasters, sand pits, bubbles and scooters – ready for the warmer weather.
“We’ll also have a good range of cuddly plush toys – one of our most popular toy types right now – including the much-awaited Mario that will tie in with a new film featuring the loveable cartoon character.”
