Tesco, Dunnes, Lidl recall eggs, ice cream, crisps and more as Irish shoppers warned 'do not eat'

Major supermarkets including Tesco, Dunnes, Lidl, Aldi and SuperValu have recalled food products in recent weeks with affected customers warned not to consume them.

Popular ice cream, eggs, crisps and biscuits are among the items that the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued alerts about.

Households across Ireland are being encouraged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers for the affected items, while shops have removed them for sale.
