Tesco is cutting hundreds of jobs from its stores nationwide and scrapping all Jack's discount stores.
It is understood Tesco will shut fish, meat and deli counters across 317 of its supermarkets where it has seen "lowest demand" amid changes in customer habits.
The move will impact hundreds of workers, although the retailer did not disclose the total number of affected staff.
