Tesco customers given £6.50 warning as December approaches

Around two million Tesco shoppers are being warned to spend more than £13m worth of Clubcard vouchers before they expire at the end of the month.

The vouchers, which were first issued in November 2020, will expire on November 30. Vouchers can be tripled in value with more than 100 Reward Partners or customers can use their vouchers to bring down the cost of their festive shop, on petrol for Autumn days out or to pick up a new deal with Tesco Mobile.

Each regular Clubcard user has around £6.50 on average to use in less than three weeks, though this amount will be more for some and less for others.

Tesco is giving Clubcard members a double boost ahead of the festive season by sending vouchers worth more than £100 million to Clubcard members with their November statement, Coventry Live reports.

Tesco Loyalty Director, Tash Whitmey, said: “With more than £13m worth of Clubcard vouchers due to expire this month, we’re reminding customers to spend them to help spread the cost of Christmas – whether that’s getting ahead on their festive food shop or by picking up an extra stocking filler.”

Tesco has recently announced a price lock until 2023 on more than 1,000 everyday staples included in its Low Everyday Prices offer.
