Drivers will be able to save themselves a fiver the next time they fill their car up at any petrol station across the UK this week, but they will need to act fast.
Deals website TopCashback will be offering drivers the opportunity to claim £5 worth of free petrol just as the country is about to be hit by the rail strikes, meaning more commuters might be relying on their car.
All drivers need to do is keep a hold off their receipt to claim the deal, reports The Manchester Evening News.
It comes just as petrol prices across Scotland have been falling from record-highs, with the AA reporting that the country was the third cheapest in the region for petrol and diesel on November 30.
TopCashback's deal will allow motorists to claim the £5 worth of free petrol when they spend a minimum of £10 at any supermarket or petrol station, including Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Shell and BP if they simply hold onto their receipt.
The deal is available to new members who sign up and it will run from today until 11:59pm on Thursday, December 22, so drivers might want to be quick to take advantage of it this week.
Drivers can access the deal by signing up to TopCashback, filling up their car and uploading a copy of the receipt over the next week in order to make sure they qualify.
