PATNA: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over investigations into the terror module busted in Phulwarisharif locality of Patna and the arrest of sleeper cell member Magroob Ahmad Danish alias Iliyas Tahir, who allegedly had links with Pakistan-based radical outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer said Danish used to receive funds in the form of crypto currencies from foreign nations. "When the special investigation team of state police searched Danish's cellphone, evidence of him receiving funds in the form of crypto currencies was found. He was also in regular touch with Faizan, a Pakistani national," the officer said.
