Residents have described how masked gangsters brought terror to a suburban street, shooting at and then 'taxing' a man for a bag of money.
The drama started when four men wearing dark clothing stepped out of a white Seat and attacked a man who was standing in Overdale, a quiet residential street in Swinton, at about 6pm on Thursday.
Residents have reported hearing three bangs before the apparent target was seen limping away with a leg injury. The four men snatched a bag from him, thought to contain bundles of cash, and sped off.
