This is the terrifying moment a huge knife was lunged at a man after a fight broke out in broad daylight in Manchester city centre.
The clip, which was captured outside the Arndale centre near Exchange Square, appeared to show two men arguing in the street as bystanders watched on and people walked by. One man then appeared to pull out a huge blade, which he then thrust towards the other man in a slashing motion.
Onlookers could be heard shouting as the man waved the weapon in the air. Greater Manchester Police said last night that officers were called to reports of a fight between two men on Corporation Street, close to Exchange Square, at around 6.15pm.
