This is the terrifying moment a "ghost car" engulfed in flames drives down the road before smashing into a bus as children look on in horror.
A clip shows schoolchildren returning home in Elland, Halifax, West Yorkshire, running away from the bus as the fireball heads towards them.
In the video, the car can be seen hitting the pavement, crushing a road sign before hitting the front of the bus.
The vehicle is on fire throughout the video and nobody appears to be at the wheel of the car.
Thick black smoke escapes from the vehicle and more flames erupt once it hits the bus.
Following the incident on Wednesday, bus passenger Maddison Lewis, 18, who filmed the incident, said: "The bus couldn't get past because there was a fire in the road so it was evacuated as a safety precaution.
"So everybody got off the bus and we were all waiting in the middle of the road and filming as the car was on fire.
"Then all of a sudden it just started coming down the road.
"I was like 'Oh my God!' It just started flying down the road. When it hit the bus, I thought it was going to blow-up. I thought I was a gonner.
"I honestly did, I was panicked. Fortunately, the bus engine was at the back of the bus."
Police said nobody was injured in the incident.
The Mirror has contacted West Yorkshire Police for comment.
